I will be signing copies of all of my works, including the #1 downloaded Horror novel on Amazon.com, Cinema of Shadows, and the first book of my Legacy of the Gods series, Poseidon’s Children.  While I have attended just about every HorrorHound in every location they’ve been held, this is the first time I have had a table at the Indianapolis show.  Please stop by and make this homecoming a true celebration!

It is with deepest regrets that, due to a situation beyond his control, Michael West will be unable to attend this year’s Horrorfind Weekend in Gettysburg, PA on August 31-September 2.   Mr. West had been looking forward to this event all year, and is most upset that he will not be able to meet with his friends and faithful readers.   In his entire career, Mr. West has  never missed an appearance before,  and he looks forward to making this unfortunate cancellation up to everyone as soon as possible.

He thanks you all for your understanding and hopes that everyone who attends Horrorfind will have a wonderful weekend!

My next appearance will be at the 6th Annual Paranormal Meet & Greet at the Historic Hannah House in Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday, August 11.  I will be at the Indiana Horror Writers table from 12-4 pm with copies of my novels and other goodies.  Admission is free, so I hope to see all my faithful readers there!

I’ve just confirmed that I will be doing a book signing at That Book Place in Madison, Indiana on Saturday, October 27th…just in time for Halloween!  I will have copies of all my novels, including the new edition to my Harmony, Indiana series, Spook House!    Now, while I hope to have copies of Spook House in time for September’s HorrorHound Weekend in Indianapolis, this will be the first time that we will have a proper launch for the novel.   What better way to kick off Halloween week?

Fandom Fest /Fright Night Film Fest is this coming weekend, June 29-July 1, and in addition to meeting the stars of various Horror, Sci-Fi, and Fantasy films, there is a huge Literary Track where you can meet and mingle with authors and publishers.   I will be speaking on several panels.  View the complete panel listing here.

Michael West will be a guest at HorrorHound Weekend Cincinnati 2011, November 11-13th at the  Crowne Plaza Cincinnati North.   He will be signing copies of his novels, The Wide Game and Cinema of Shadows, as well as his short story collection, Skull Full of Kisses, and other works.   Other guests include the casts of Stephen King’s Pet Sematary, Ghostbusters, and the hit AMC series The Walking Dead.

This will be a busy week!  My new novel from Seventh Star Press, Cinema of Shadows, hits the streets on August 9th.   I have a new short story, “Masako’s Tale,” available in the second Beast Within anthology, Predator & Prey, available now from Graveside Tales Books.   And, last but not least,  I have added two new appearances to my schedule. 

The first appearance is at the historic Hannah House, a real-life haunted house in Indianapolis, IN.  I will be signing books, including Cinema of Shadows, during the Paranormal Meet & Greet from 12-4 pm on Saturday, August 13th.
